About Myeongdong

The bustling Myeong-dong is a shopping area filled with world-class fashion brands, high-end department stores, and Korean-brand cosmetics stores. Casual restaurants sell Korean dumplings and samgyetang, and street stalls sell Japanese and Thai snacks. Performances that combine traditional music and plays will also be held at Myeongdong Nanta Theater. Nearby, there is a Gothic bell tower in Myeongdong Cathedral, which was built in the 19th century.
