Yeonggwang Bulgapsa Temple, Spider Lily Festival
It is a festival held at the Bulgapsa Tourist Site in Yeonggwang-gun, which forms the largest red flower colony in Korea, in time for the blooming of Spider Lily Festival in September every year.
Spider lily symbolizes longing, affection, and true love because flowers and leaves cannot meet.
The 24th Yeonggwang Bulgapsan Spider Lily Festival will be held from September 13 to 22 under the theme of "Coloring in the light of Spider lily!
Stay in Yeonggwang!" Representative programs such as walking a flower path with Spider lilies that makes the whole mountain red, Spider liy Wish Road, Spider lily Media Facade, and Spider lily Moonlight Night, and various competitions, performances, experiences, and exhibitions under the theme of Spider lily will be held.
This year, it plans to welcome new tourists by developing programs linked to online and offline, reminiscent of memories through Spider lily archiving, strengthening events linked to Yeonggwang-gun tourist attractions, and expanding convenience facilities.
Are you a professional photographer?
If you want to take a picture of the plains stained with the sea of red, this is a must-see place. It is beautiful to have a single flower, but it is even more beautiful to have these flowers together. It is as if we are in a red sea. They will color your heart red as autumn begins. It will be another joy to be able to enjoy such wonderful sights at temples while touring Korea.
If you are a photographer who loves taking pictures, you will take wonderful pictures here. But if you are thinking of taking pictures of these flowers, make sure to visit the temple in the early morning. There are too many people during the day. Maybe there are more people than flowers.
